Crypt Raider Demo

Hello! My name is EJ Protacio and this is my Third Gamedev Project that I learned from a Udemy Course called Unreal Engine 5 C++ Developer: Learn C++ & Make Video Games by Ben Tristem. 

This is my 3rd project where I built a level from a Free Asset Pack: Medieval Dungeon from the Unreal Engine 5 Market place. It features opening doors and opening walls using triggered overlapping objects. The purpose of this demo is to go through the crypt to find the Golden Statue and escape with it! 

The project taught me many more C++ implementations such as how to create Actor and Scene components to interact with the world. In this case, it was how to implement moving objects using overlap triggers. It also taught me a bit about the Unreal 5 Lumen lighting and you can see that within the torch lights and chandeliers throughout the demo. The project encompasses a lot of the things that I have learned from the previous projects plus more!
